FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions donors and intended parents ask us most. If yours isn't here, we're happy to talk it through.
Egg donation
Is egg donation painful?
The process is controlled, minimally invasive and medically safe. Most donors describe the discomfort as mild and short-lived, and a team of experts monitors and supports you throughout.
Do I remain anonymous?
Yes. Donor participation is confidential and anonymous throughout the entire process.
How long does the whole process take?
From first screening to donation the process is short and structured, with each stage scheduled by the medical team. Your coordinator explains the timeline for your case in the first call.
Do I have medical support?
Yes. You are under full medical supervision at every step, with examinations, counselling and follow-up care included.
Can I stop at any time?
Yes. Participation is entirely voluntary and you may withdraw at any stage.
How are travel and accommodation covered?
Travel and accommodation are coordinated and supported as part of the programme, so you can focus on the process itself.
Do I have to stay in Cyprus for long?
No. Most monitoring and preparation takes place in your home country. You travel to Cyprus only for the final, short step.
IVF & intended parents
Does Kuvera provide medical treatment?
No. Kuvera is a coordination and support service. All medical care is provided by licensed doctors and clinics. We help you choose, prepare, communicate and travel.
Why choose Cyprus for IVF?
Clinics in the Republic of Cyprus are licensed by the Ministry of Health and follow EU safety rules. Experienced specialists, short flights from most European cities and a calm, safe setting make treatment easier to plan.
Which clinics do you work with?
We work with carefully chosen partners, including Pedieos IVF Center in Nicosia, founded in 1986 by Dr. Krinos Trokoudes.
Which languages do you speak?
We support you in English, German, French, Portuguese and Arabic.
What does the first conversation cost?
Nothing. Your first conversation is free, confidential and without obligation.
What should I prepare for the first call?
Nothing formal. If you have previous medical reports or questions, have them ready, but a short description of your situation is enough to start.
No obligation. Your first conversation is free and completely confidential.
